GerrAudio Distribution is hosting the company’s eleventh annual Demo Days event on Dec. 14 and 15, 2022, at Catch the Fire Church in Toronto. The event opens at 9:30 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. each day. The schedule incorporates workshops led by industry experts, live product demonstrations, and a networking lounge for attendees to meet and reconnect with industry colleagues and friends. Complementary food and beverages will be served throughout each day.

“Demo Days gives our Canadian customers and technical users the opportunity to engage directly with our suppliers and experience the latest technology available,'' comments Peter Snelgrove, director of marketing and operations at GerrAudio. “This year, we have over a dozen guests flying in from DiGiCo, Meyer Sound, DPA Microphones, RME, KLANG:technologies, LynTec, and ASI Audio, and a full schedule of training workshops is planned to take place during the two day event. We’ll also be launching an innovative new product line at Demo Days, and are really looking forward to introducing this technology to our Canadian friends in the broadcast, TV/film and video production side of the industry.”

GerrAudio has published the preliminary list of workshops and presenters, which includes DiGiCo Training - Intermediate & Advanced (Tim Shaxson & Dave Bigg, DiGiCo), Designing in 3D: Theory & Application (Bob McCarthy, Meyer Sound), Real-world Application of Milan in Live Sound (Josh Fehrmann, Meyer Sound), The Right Sauce for the Source: Mic Techniques for the Pros (Paul Andrews, DPA) and Elevate your IEM Mix: The Benefits of Binaural (Phil Kamp, KLANG:technologies).  Attendees will be able to sign up for these workshops once the session agenda has been finalized (last week of November).

Demo Days is GerrAudio's annual "audio only" showcase that caters to the training and professional development of technical artists and engineers, AV consultants, integrators, resellers, musicians and audio enthusiasts alike. Industry areas of focus at the event include live sound, broadcast, studio and recording, TV/film, audio test and measurement, and immersive sound.
